Integrative Wellness Care Centre

How is Wellness connected to Clinical Pathology and Integrative Healthcare?

The best way to support our Clinical Pathology sector is to keep everyone in better health. The current culture in our health sector is underfunded and understaffed.  Access to clinical care includes long waits for diagnostics and treatment without supporting alternative approaches.  This creates exponential delays in support and clinically guided care.  Early and preventative treatment is always the best medicine practice.  General Practitioners are overwhelmed with the amount of patients in the community per practitioner, the shortage of access, limited options for support and extended wait times of availability in diagnostic testing. These delays cost us financially and most importantly, cost us our health. Integrative Practices allow for community members to utilise different modalities of healthcare for better health outcomes supporting the whole needs of an  individual.  There is a wheel of health that allows for dynamic, personalised care.  The best medical practices are the ones that improve health in the shortest amount of time.  Treating the whole person allows for a more cohesive healing process

Many local integrative practitioners feel our community health could be vastly improved with better access to clinical diagnostics and alternative treatment options that take into account the dynamics of health.  Tahitanga will work closely with local practitioners to determine the most beneficial diagnostic additions at a local and national level.  Tahitanga will closely monitor the efficacy and outcomes of the integrative wellness hub and clinical diagnostics partnership.  This will give a real-time, accurate understanding of the benefits and shortcomings of this innovative care model.

Tahitanga will support an Integrative Wellness Department to include General Practitioners, Specialists, Nature and Body based medicine , Mental Health Care and Cultural Support during illness and sickness prevention.  Integrative healthcare will come from local businesses including nutritional support, acupuncture, massage, physiotherapy support and General Practice Care with a focus on community needs in health, recovery and wellness.  This will be accomplished by building out a clinical space to supports the needs with on-site clinical diagnostics.

Currently, many medical professionals do not have access locally to the testing they find most beneficial in their modality of treatment.  Testing that IS utilised are many times sent over seas, sometimes as far as the UK and USA.   There are many integrative healthcare support modalities that are extremely inexpensive and non-invasive. Providing a clinical pathology piece will only enhance patient care. Integrative health is an amazing pillar to support health and wellness within our community.  Providing integrative medicine with the clinical ability for diagnostic will reinforce a well-rounded foundation of a healthcare community.
