Anna Burnet

Anna's career in infectious diseases began in 2013 studying the pathogenesis of herpes zoster (VZV) complications including stroke, postherpetic neuralgia, and herpes zoster ophthalmicus. Her graduate work focused on the role of Epstein Barr Virus in the pathogenesis of endemic Burkitt lymphoma, a prevalent pediatric cancer in Sub-Saharan Africa using genomics, public health, immunology and drug discovery perspectives. She completed her PhD in 2024 and now specialises in Medical and Technical writing to support clinical trials focused on a variety of therapeutic areas. Her contributions and collaboration is deeply appreciated. We are so thankful to have Anna part of this project.
