Angela is an Integrative Healthcare Specialist and Scientist.   She has a double bachelors in Biology and Integrative Health Care from Metropolitan State University of Denver.  She has a passion to bring conventional and complementary approaches together in a coordinated way to improve health outcomes with multiple disciplines.  She spent 7 years at the University of Colorado Hospital in Clinical Pathophysiology as a scientist intern.  She also held an internship with a Tradition Chinese Medicine Clinic.  She is the founder of Wild Wisdom Integrative Healthcare and has spent the last 14 years and an Integrative Specialist.  She has worked in Nelson Hospital in Histology and as a mortuary technician. Her desire is to build the bridge between conventional medicine and integrative medicine to optimally support health and well-being. 

     She has been in New Zealand with her family for almost 6 years and hopes to spend many more.  She volunteers locally any chance she has supporting organizations in health and wellness, food security and education. She is excited to be part of Tahitanga and continue working with our amazing community to create a culture in medicine that supports the body, mind and spirit.  She also has a love for a microscope!
